Archos 5 vs. iPhone 3G vs. Nokia N810

Browser bakeoffs never without a certain amount of controversy, but a kind of Pocketable to compare the latest devices on the sidelines represent three very different points on the spectrum of a touch screen device. Having used them all, we will say in advance that the results are surprising: the Archos 5 burns and N810 as the iPhone, and not always by small margins - 5 loaded Engadget 18 seconds faster than the N810. (We did the same test with our 5 and iPhone 3G and the results were basically similar.) Now, this does not mean, that makes 5 of the Opera-powered best even the most useful, because in our experience to move the bodies and painfully difficult to do with resistive touch screen, but interesting that hotrodded PMP has managed to load the page consistently faster than the smartphone or Linux-powered tablet.
