Belkin promises little to no interference and without delay, even for you players. As for the merger, we are already at three HDMI ins, the two parts ins, a composite and an HDMI. Remote control takes place via infrared, which should be welcome news for those of you with universal remotes. FlyWire will come in two packages: FlyWire AV69003 at 999.99 U.S. dollars meant by the whole solution to the house with IR backchannel for multi-room control, while FlyWire R1 AV69000 at 699.99 U.S. dollars is earmarked for a single room without IR backchannel. Not exactly cheap, but heck of a lot cheaper than those custom installs wireless and a lot more than pretty ripping a hole in the wall to your cable. FlyWire should hit stores in October.[Engadget]
