Sharp AQUOS today rolled out a series of DX, which is known as the first LCD TVs with built-in Blu Ray Disc Recorders in the world. Series consists of 16 new models from 26 inches to 52-inch screen size. All models are compatible with the BD-RE v2.1 (Single / Dual Layer), BD-R 1.1 (Single / Dual Layer) recording the disc, and most accessible play the disc. LG has added a new member to its Scarlet LCD TV line in the form of LG80. The LG80 offers a Full HD resolution, 30000:1 contrast ratio of the three modes AV (movies, video games, sports), USB 2.0, two HDMI 1.3, 3.1 and integrated audio system with 50 watts of production. However, there is no information about the size of the screen. LG Scarlet LG80 will be released in the United States and Europe at the end of the year.[Engadget HD]

The latest in what seems to be never-ending series of LCD TVs from Sharp, the 46in Sharp Aquos LC-46X8E, is actually slightly on the oddity. At the beginning, the one-time, there are other models X8E around now in each of different sizes, and we have not heard about more soon. Even more oddly, is in fact based, to the extent of its key specifications, in the Sharp range of completely known by another name: the B20 AQUOS series, which consists of two models in sizes 37 and 42in. So far, Sharp, LC-37XL8E is already pretty darned well. It really looks like it’s got everything quite demanding TV buyer may want from a new LCD. Heck, even his 37in screen seems perfectly suited to the average living room environment. But of course, on paper specifications are in fact only a small portion of the flat TV “personality”. For all the fine numbers, art and decorative features connections amount to too much TV if you can not cut it in sound and image in particular departments. In most cases, Runco remains relatively calm in the realm of consumer … to about CEDIA rolls. Once again, high-end AV company is firing on all cylinders in Denver, announcing seven new 1080p LCD / plasma and LCD displays with its largest so far, 70-inch Crystal Series CX-70DHD (pictured). Along with the new panels, the dress is unveiling its exclusive opal (Alignment of optical path) technology on selected models, which “provides the extreme reduction of glare and contrast extended to high ambient light environments.” That 70-incher (dispatch mid-October to $ 34995) actually accompanied by an external auditor DHD video / processor, which incorporates Runco’s Vivix II technology to “strengthen all digital and NTSC content near high-definition quality.” We admit that sounds like a definitely something going on Toshiba’s got just a few booths over, but make it what it will be.
