So far, Sharp, LC-37XL8E is already pretty darned well. It really looks like it’s got everything quite demanding TV buyer may want from a new LCD. Heck, even his 37in screen seems perfectly suited to the average living room environment. But of course, on paper specifications are in fact only a small portion of the flat TV “personality”. For all the fine numbers, art and decorative features connections amount to too much TV if you can not cut it in sound and image in particular departments. So hope that 37XL8E talents extension is not too. Before you know, even though, let’s put some flesh on the bones set out in the opening paragraph.[Trustedreviews]

Japanese manufacturer JVC has released two super slim LCD TV at CEDIA 2008. These measures on monitors only 1.5 inches thick, with a maximum depth of only 2.9-inch panel at the center. Like all but their most affordable displays, Sony KDL40V4000 project is without a doubt Sony. Instead, it can only be used for the reception of digital photos from a Bluetooth mobile phones, or listening to stereo sound with the use of TV - guessed it -

Here is another flat LCD from Samsung. New Samsung 52 Inch LCD claims as the slimmest to 50 inches and is only about 1 inch thick. LCD offers a contrast ratio of 50000:1 and brightness 550 nit, and is scheduled to go into production in 2009.[AVING]

Toshiba announced a new lineup in Regza TVs, RV series, available in 37”42”i 46.” All models come with 1080p resolution, as well as the 100Hz panel, de la technologie Active Vision M100HD, Nicam Stereo and SRS WOW technology, digital television tuner, HDMI port, the contrast ratio 18000:1-30000:1 (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) and 10-bit color processing.[Akihabaranews]

We have completed a review of the Samsung LE40A656 (firmware update for T-PRLPEUMD-1007, 2, the latest version at this time of writing) LCD HDTV. This is not some things (black, SD video, sound body, the 100Hz) better than last year’s models and its image quality is not up with the best Sony Bravias.[hdtvtest]
