LaCie launches Internet Space.The company describes the device as “userfriendly hard disk with a capacity of 500 GB or 1 TB”, but on the functionality of the device makes us think it’s a U.S. media and backups. The U.S. features its own Gigabit LAN connector, which means that it does not require additional computer to go online. Internet Space can stream multimedia files through your home network to an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 console. This makes it possible to view photos or videos on television. The disc can also be used as a server of music from iTunes. LaCie has also added a USB 2.0, to add a second external hard disk. Thanks to the use-software HipServ DesktopMirror to backup the contents of the Internet Space can be placed on the second hard disk.  The device is available in Europe, and recommended price of € 169 (500 GB) or € 229 (1 TB), inclusive.
