Tascam announced that its portable guitar / bass recorder, th GT-R1, will be available on August 26. With this new recorder will record a guitar or bass parts. It has a direct entry guitars and bass, 128 x 64 graphic LCD back light, 1GB SD cards, guitars / bass trainer (allowing the slow speed of CDs without changing the pitch), a built-in multi-effects, rhythm and preset patterns (55 presets). It also allows WAVE MP3 files and record / playback to and from memory and can record in 48/44.1 kHz 24-bit (uncompressed) SD / SDHC card.[Akihabaranews]
