Nikon today introduced the long-awaited d3x DSLR. This is a 24.5MP (CMOS sensor) DSLR that is able to take pictures with a resolution of 6048 x 4032 with EXPEED ™ image processing system, which shoots a frame for about 5 seconds, and 7 fps in DX crop mode. The price € 6300, the camera can also be proud ISO speed from 100 to 1600, expandable to 50 (Lo 1) and 6400 (Hi-2). Other features include 3-inch LCD screen and an HDMI output. What makes the Nikon d3x more special is that it is also compatible with Nikon’s GP-1 and a GPS receiver is able to capture images even in 4400 to one for its lithium-ion battery.[Nikon]

The top model in Panasonic is a compact camera range, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 is a high-spec compact camera aimed mainly at enthusiasts and semi-professional photographers. The Nikon CoolPix P6000 is certainly an impressive-looking camera. It has everything ready for aluminum body in semi-matt black. The design is very linear and uncompromising, A rugged black-slab festooned with buttons, dials and ports. It is clearly designed to look like a “proper camera”, until the SLR-like row of buttons on the left side of the monitor, a fact that is the neck strap loop instead of the wrist. Nikon S-series of ultra-premium compacts out an impressive 19 models, including 12 on the front of the lens triple-digit, such as the Nikon CoolPix S560 models. I’m sure that it is only coincidence, but there are also 12 models in the popular Canon IXUS range in which the S-series is in direct competition. The nearest match on the S560 is IXUS 970 IS, which also has a 5x zoom lens, 10MP sensor and image stabilization, though it has only 2.5-inch monitor. For BenQ DC C1060 compact camera has been unveiled. The camera has a 10MP sensor with a 3x optical zoom and 2.7-inch LCD screen. DC C1060 also offers a “Super Shake Free” system and Smile Catch. The compact camera is able to record movies in 720 x 400 or 640 x 480 resolution. For the cool factor for this camera is that it comes with an elegant leather grip texture.
