Dell just busted out a new member in its storied line of LCD UltraSharp 2709W. 27-inch LCD Dell is a reference to the 2707WFP, and features the same resolution of 1920 x 1200, 9-in-2 media card reader and the response time of 6ms, but bumps to 3000:1 contrast ratio and goes on all the new black stylings. Clarity is to say 450 nits, but the real fun comes from ports: Dell shortened only known to man all here, including HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, component, composite and DisplayPort. There is also an interesting set of USB ports and HDCP for good measure. In the three years warranty on the display sells for 999 dollars, compared to completely steal 2707WFP’s intro price of 1400 dollars last year. [via Engadget]
